Upper Manhattan is rich with culture, art, greenery and upscale neighborhoods which have been home to famous personalities for decades. The east and west sides are divided by Central Park. Along the route you’ll be able to hop-on and hop-off at interesting locations, neighborhoods and places of interest to view Central Park, Lincoln Center, Time Warner Center, Columbus Circle, The Dakota, The New York Historical Society, Museum of Natural History, Strawberry Field, Apollo Theater, Schomburg Center for History in Black Culture, Hamilton Grange, Striver’s Row, Museum Mile, The Plaza Hotel, Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Guggenheim, Frick Collection, El Museo del Bario, Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Harlem Market, the Museum of the City of New York, and more.
The tour is led by licensed tour guides who provide an informative narrative as the tour progresses. They will point out sights and attractions such as Columbia University, Studio 54, the Good Morning America Studio, Grand Army Plaza, the Macolm X Mosque, Carnegie Hall, Lafayette Square, and many more. And because it is a hop-on hop-off tours, you can jump of at one of the 20 different stops to explore areas of particular interest or see the sights with your New York City Explorer Pass. Hop-on Hop-off double-decker tickets are valid for 24 hours from date of pickup. This tour lasts approximately 2 1/2 hours if you choose not to hop-on or hop-off at the stops along the way.
